i have pretty fine, naturally straight hair that doesn't hold a curl. if anyone else has hair like this, can you post some pictures of your hair and give me some styling tips? i'm getting a haircut tomorrow and soon i'll be studying abroad in new zealand, so i need something really fucking cute and low-maintenance. this is my hair now and i'll most likely be getting an a-line somewhere between my chin and my shoulders with lots of layers and cute choppy pieces.

This might sound really stupid but I want to know how to part my hair like below (See Picture/s below). Me in the cut!
I do have side bangs
normally I part my hair on the side with my bangs so they sweep across and i part it all the way back
My Explanion of what I want Incase the pictures aren't clear: I just want my bangs to sweep across and then not have a part back all the way.
Sorry These are Audrey Kitching.

Hey guys! So I'm getting my hair done Thursday and I need your advice(:
Hello my lovely ladies and the occasional gentleman!
I have naturally very dark hair and I'm thinking about trying L'OREAL HiColor.
I was just wondering if you could possibly post pics of your results from using one of the red or ginger/orange shades they have.
Finnegan thanks you in advance!

God damn, that would've come out really annoying if you could hear me say it out loud.
So I'm going to include a SMALL TIMELINE here, because some people simply don't believe me when I tell them about all the adventures my hair has been on.
ALSO ALSO ALSO LAKJFALSDFJAD I'M SHAVING MY HEAD IN JUNE!

finally. i received many compliments with the orange but i still wasn't feeling it. after a year of blue, pink, purple and red, i wanted to go back to something more natural and another unnatural color was the last thing i wanted. i was going through too much self tanner. :)
so it went from here, which looked much better in the photos and faded into what looked like a mistake:

Hey, not much of a post.. but I've been suffering from dry hair for a while now and recently bought Matrix Biologe Hydrating Shampoo, and Conditioning Balm. I got the Generic brand for only $5.99 at Sally's Beauty. It's a LIFE SAVER.. for anyone who's in need :)
Hello! I looked through the user info links and tried a journal search and didn't find anything, so here's hoping my journal search-fu isn't failing. I searched 'stitch computer program' 'stitch computer software' 'cross stitch computer' and the names of a few programs I'm thinking of buying, and it found nothing for any of them.
I'm currently making my own cross stitch patterns via photoshop, but it's rather time-consuming to make a really useable pattern. I've been looking into a good automatic cross stitch pattern making program. Unfortunately, most of the ones I find the free trial download either flat out doesn't work, or when I get it, it's not particularly good. I've noticed a real problem translating black in most programs I've tried- they try to make it dark green, or dark blue, so if you've already got that color in your image you can't tell what is supposed to be black and what isn't. Or else they make it far too pixelly, and there's no way you could tell what the original image was supposed to be.
So I'd like to know what people are using, how happy they are with it, and what some of the shortcomings are. I'm hoping not to spend more than 60, unless the best-best-everyone-loves program is more than that. I don't do machine embroidery, so I don't need a program that is capable of converting to machine embroidery patterns.
I've running on 32bit Windows Vista, but I'm upgrading to Windows 7 relatively soon. I'm finding most cross stitch making programs were last updated for XP, and then abandoned by their creators.
Thanks! I'm going to cross-post this to
stitchers as well.

i have a bunch of pics trapped on my old camera and can't get them off bc the cord is borked. oh well. borrowed camera ftw. here (with contents listed under each) are this week's bentos thus far:

jalepeno shrimp tomatoes over brown rice with cumin. top tier is pomegranate in one side, avadado with lime juice and a babybel in the other.

yellow and green zucchini sauteed with cherry tomatoes and herbs. cut up pear with blue cheese wedge and walnuts.

whole wheat pasta, andouille sausage, left over sauteed zucchini with more tomatoes added. plain yogurt with pomegranate seeds and walnuts.

sliced steak over greenbeans with a hot cherry pepper on top. pears with blue cheese wedge and some walnuts. not pictured is the salad greens i will probably put everything on before i eat it, now that i realize exactly how protein centric this lunch is.

Remember me? Well my hair didn't look THIS bad irl, but it was still bad. Anyway, I dyed my hair again, not very exciting, but I also had a good hairday hahaha..

So here's a question for all you madraders out there. I was wondering if a placenta shampoo and conditioner (like La bella that is sold at walmart) would be good for my hair.
I've heard some good and some bad reviews about it so I thought I'd ask you guys to help me out. Currently, my hair is pretty dry at the ends but can gety kinda oily at my bangs. Its a little damaged and breaks easy from going a little crazy with the hair dye for a couple years. I really want to repair it.
So would this be a good thing for me to try? If you have any other suggestions for me please let me know.
Thanks! <3

I need help with my hair.
I normally have short hair, but I have been trying to grow it out. This is the longest it has been in a while. I really miss my bangs so I want some opinions on what I should do? What kind of cut/bangs do you think I should get? Should I not grow it anymore and chop it back off?
